For the first time, MusicSpoke is hanging out in the Rockies at CoCDA. So far, the Coloradians (is this the proper demonym? Coloradicals? Coloradials?) have been fantastic. They read music with enthusiasm, come by the booth to talk about real issues like how to foster diversity in the classroom without appropriating culture, and take the YAS! buh-uns.

Like always, MusicSpoke makes a goal of connecting conductors to the composers who are writing music in their area. So for Colorado, we took composers that are either living in Colorado, are from Colorado, or are attending the conference. We love connecting people. Our sessions is being led by composer, conductor, multi-instrumentalist, and general savant, Kevin Padworski. You can explore each of the scores at the links below.
